Ship 30 for 30

What Klaus Schwalb shouldn’t have told you about the coming Great Reset

I started noticing the tweets and YouTube videos in November.

You will own nothing, and you will be happy! Klaus Schwalb is the Antichrist! The pandemic is a plot to destroy your freedom!

There’s a conspiracy theorist in all of us. I’d love to believe the Illuminati and Bildeburger Group are plotting an evil New World Order, that will boil us all down to a gelatinous green glob.

It would make things sooooo much easier. Decision made! No hard thinking to do! Just pick a side!

The Evil Empire vs the Freedom Fighters. (Schwalb does unfortunately look like Blofeld and Emperor Palpatine rolled into one.)

(Sigh) If only life were that simple. There is always, unfortunately, hard thinking to do.

Deciding to play the scientist, I shut off the tweets and videos, and went to the source. I bought his latest book, and read it over the Christmas break. Covid-19: The Great Reset.

Cracking read, though not easy going. And Schwalb (and co-author Thierry Malleret) say some stuff I wouldn’t expect Emperor Palpatine to volunteer.

The most surprising?

There’s a fighting chance we’re on the edge of Renaissance 2.0. It may already have started.

Huge bursts of human creativity often follow hard on the heels of pandemics and great destruction. The original Renaissance? Shakespeare? Pushkin? Newton’s Laws? The Roaring 1920's? All right after, or during, pandemics.

If he is the Evil Emperor, he’s just shot himself in the foot.

Fancy a new Renaissance? Start your engines.
