Ship 30 for 30

The productivity secret two fractional billionaires and three 19th-Century politicians have in common. (That newly successful biz owners won’t implement.)

(Gotta admit: Even though I know this secret is true, I have a terrible time applying it.)

There’s one secret that makes a HUGE difference for ANYONE who wants to stay on top of their game.

And it’s one you almost definitely won’t implement. It’s too hard.

If you want it quick, scroll to the bottom.

The fractional billionaires?

Richard Koch and Markus Frind.

Koch is a frightfully successful investor, and author of The 80/20 Principle.

Frind founded PlentyofFish.com, and flipped it for an undisclosed 9-figure sum.

Both famously work (or worked) 1–2 hours/day. That’s all they need to send a few emails and make sure the engine is ticking over nicely.

And their wealth is growing in their absence.

The three 19th Century politicians?

Prince von Metternich, Bismarck, and Lord Salisbury.

Who between them ensured the 19th Century was relatively peaceful. All three hated war. Bismarck said, Anyone who has looked into the glazed eyes of a soldier dying on the battlefield will think hard before starting a war.

He’d know. He started two, but ended them quickly.

The secret? INACTION

A bias for recognizing success, and not doing ANYTHING to mess it up.

Just stand there. It ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Human beans have a very hard time not fixing it.

If you’ve got a business that’s ticking over nicely …. take the day off.

Then take the week off. Then the month. Then ….

You won’t do it, I know. But it’s what you should do.
