6 Things Brooke Castillo did to become an 8-digit life coach

Brooke Castillo is a clever entrepreneur.

She coaches (and certifies) life coaches, and is on her way to grossing $100MM per year. I listened to a 2019 podcast interview of her.

Here’s what I learned:

1. Never associate time (in your head) with money.

Never. Only so many hours in a day.

Sever that connection.

2. Create a methodology that solves your own problem, then teach/sell it.

Brooke developed her own Life Coaching Model, because she found it worked well for her.

People kept asking, Could she teach them her method?

Presto.

3. Charge big, pay big.

Critical to have an abundant money mindset.

If you don’t visualize yourself as expensive, she says, your customers won’t either. When it comes to the value you provide, YOU lead.

And she only hires coaches for herself who are already making the kind of money SHE aspires to earn.

4. Never give discounts.

You don’t help someone make a buying decision by lowering the price.

Price is never the real reason a sale falls through. It’s because the prospect doesn’t see the value.

Increase the value in their eyes, rather than lower the price.

5. Higher-priced products are SLIGHTLY harder to sell, TONS easier to deliver.

Their $7 book drew tons of complainers.

But her high-priced certification funnel?

Way more lucrative, no complainers.

6. Erect Constraints, and leave money on the table.

She decided to focus on just a few products, package them up, and drop the rest. This “left lots of money on the table”, but THAT’S when she took off.

Swee-ee-eet.
